Quick and Simple Christmas Decoration

Hi all froggy readers! I am Alison from Heavenly Handmades and am going to share a quick and simple decoration idea for your Christmas cake.

I (stupidly) volunteered to make a Christmas cake for my daughter’s nursery for a guess the weight of the Christmas cake competition so in the chaos of selling our house and trying to make the new house habitable I needed a simple, quick decoration idea!!

I bought snow flake cookie cutters last year and used them to cut fondant snowflakes which I glittered with edible glitter and stuck on to the plain fondant covered cake.

 I then highlighted the gaps in the snowflakes with some edible pearlescent powder and tied a ribbon round it – simple!
